Ben Zur Nurseries has 25 years experience in plant production from tissue culture.
Our company has a state-of-the-art tissue culture laboratory, a hardening nursery and a subssidiary that specializes in growing clean, first generation bulbs.
In 1998, our company produced approximately 8,000,000 tissue cultured plants and marketed some 60% directly from the laboratory to the customer.
Our laboratory staff invests great effort and resources in the development of advanced propagation methods for enhacing our products and their price. The laboratory has also developed numerous protocols of various types for our customers the world over. The laboratory work area has recently been doubled and in 1998-99 it will be enlarged by further 50%.
In recent years, our company has been mainly engaged in the successful development of new products from various countries all over the world.
Over the past year the company has submitted ten different plants for PBR registration in Israel and abroad, and it is our intention to register approximately ten annually. To this end, we are developing numerous international business associations with breeders of bannanas, cut flowers, ornamentals and flowering pot plants.
We have signed exclusive production and marketing agreements with other companies and grant production and marketing agreements to our agents all over the world.
